Kamila was born and raised in the former USSR and immigrated to Seattle, Washington in 2000 with parents and her younger brother.

She received her undergraduate degree in biology from the University of Washington (Seattle) in 2008. After college, she worked for a gene synthesis company where she performed plasmid DNA isolation, purification, DNA sequencing analysis to manufacture 100-200 genes a day. In 2017 she completed her Masters of Science with the Didactic Program in Dietetics at Bastyr University (Kenmore, WA), a pioneer in science-based natural medicine. In 2018 she completed an Individualized Supervised Practice Pathway (ISPP) within the Didactic Program in Dietetics (DPD) internship with a focus in community nutrition at the University of Hawai’i at Mānoa.

Kamila discovered the connections between nature and nurture in the prevention and healing of chronic diseases. She enthusiastically adopts this practice as her life’s mission and emphasizes cultural history as significant to a patient's health. Kamila believes in healing and mind-body-spirit connection. She serves multicultural and low-income communities, strives to engage in community education and outreach, and believes everybody deserves to live a healthy and fulfilling life.
